Get your article published on CHROMA

You can now write and publish your own article on CHROMA! Choose a topic you like, and get in touch! We will be happy to host your work on our blog. Before start drafting your article, make sure you read carefully and in full the following guidelines:

Content

  • CHROMA is an art blog and as such, only art related content will be accepted. Various approaches can be deemed acceptable, as long as they are presented in a way that relates to art. Some of the topics that CHROMA would be pleased to host, include:
    • Time management and art
    • Setting up a business as an artist (including online platforms for selling art)
    • Art techniques (mainly painting and sketching)
    • Artist associations and other networking opportunities for artists.
    • Sharing experiences from major art events
    • History or Theory of Art
    • Art education
  • No mention of personal and sensitive matters such as politics, religion or nations can be approved and published on the art blog (even if not offensive). No racism or profanity will be tolerated.
  • The article will have to be between 500 and 700 words (approximately).
  • You can write your article on any platform you wish (ie. MS Word, Openoffice, WordPress etc). Details can be discussed at a later stage.
  • Official language of the blog is English. The Editor will proof read the text.
  • You will need to submit a few lines about your article (or full article, if you have already written it). You can do so by either using the form at the end of the page or by emailing: chromapaintings@gmail.com
  • You are welcome to submit pictures to be incorporated in the article. This will have to be of high resolution and submitted by email (or any of the other available means of getting in touch).

Contributor Profile

If you wish to be invited as a Contributor to CHROMA, for clarity and consistency you will need to comply with the following:

If you are not a WordPress user already:

  • Inform CHROMA team of your interest by submitting the form at the end of the page.
  • You will be requested to:
    • Provide your full and real name
  • Provide a profile picture that is of good resolution and shows your face clearly and in full.

If you are a WordPress user already:

  • Inform CHROMA team of your interest by submitting the form at the end of the page.
  • CHROMA Editor will assess your existing account regarding compliance with the guidelines above.

General

  • The Editor of CHROMA will be responsible for formatting the content. The Contributor’s opinion will be taken into account but the final decision will be made by the Editor.
  • The Editor of the blog has the right reject the article/proposal.
  • Publishing on CHROMA is free. Equally, no payment for the content can be provided.
  • By submitting your article to CHROMA for publication, it will be public and no copyright claims can be made.
  • By being a Contributor you agree that you cannot claim anything from CHROMA or anyone else in the publishing team.
  • If you stop complying with any of the above, at any time, you accept that your content and your profile might be removed from CHROMA without previous notice.
